Main highlights of Five Base Camp Trekking in Pakistan

In the wake of visiting Concordia and intersection Ghondogoro La, a trip to Nanga Parbat’s base camp is a delicate experience. A night in tents or log lodges is a brilliant encounter before getting back to the busting towns with every day occupied routine life. This is an undertaking past your creative mind. After finishing the first phase of the trip at Hushe across the Ghondogoro Pass (5,750m). We drive to Gilgit and go onwards. This journey towards perhaps the most beautiful spot, Pixie Glades, offers a unique perspective on Nanga Parbat (8125m). Nanga Parbat is the 10th most noteworthy on the planet.

The Concordia Journey starts from the little town of Askole toward the finish of the jeep street from Skardu. Tremendous stone pinnacles, for example, Uli Biaho and the Trango‘s line the initial segment of the Baltoro Ice sheet and offer an extraordinary interruption from the difficult work of journeying.

The pinnacles develop bigger and bigger, and the perspectives more amazing. However, the best views stand by just for the individuals who can arrive at Concordia. Concordia is a fantastic spot to invest some energy unwinding and take in the considerable measure of the landscape that encompasses you; however, there are possibilities for side outings.

You can visit K2 , Gasherbrum II ,  Gasherbrum I and Broad Peak base.

Experience Adventurous Trekking

Solid adventurers can likewise cross Ghondogoro La (see our Ghondogoro La Trip for more information) to arrive at Hushe town in the south, yet the vast majority re-visitation of Askole through the Baltoro Glacial mass once more. The Five Camp Trekking in Pakistan is unquestionably perhaps the best trip on the planet, so don’t leave your experience alone demolished by helpless assistance.

The Five Base trek Journey can be begun from  Askole in the west. So, the vast majority decide to start from Askole for a couple of reasons: the methodology is longer and gives more opportunity for acclimatization, and if conditions are bad for the intersection of the pass, adventurers don’t miss visiting Concordia and the Baltoro Glacial mass.

Likewise, there are numerous extraordinary trips out of the Hushe Valley. That can be incredible augmentations to visiting the pass. Because, Gondogoro La is a specialized, demanding journey and is certifiably not a decent decision for a first-time traveler.

Crampons, fixed ropes, and an early morning start should be utilized to cross Ghondogoro’s pass. The adventurer should be fit. Because, sometimes, precipices or awful climate can preclude a fruitful rising, and anybody intending to travel should know about this.

Notwithstanding, this is perhaps the best trip on the planet, and all the exertion of arriving at the pass is undoubtedly justified, despite all the trouble. We ensure phenomenal planning, and if the climate and course are exact, you will remain on Ghondoghoro La.

A few varieties are accessible, the most famous of which is an essential ‘there-and-back’ course. This course is more uncomplicated as it evades the high pass of Gondogoro La.

It additionally offers greater adaptability as it’s conceivable to take various diversions on the way including to Trango Pinnacles headquarters just as choices to expedite at one or the other K2 or Expansive Pinnacle headquarters, or both.

Nanga Parbat, The Killer Mountain

Before 1990, Nanga Parbat had an incredible passing pace of 77%. It means summiteers were bound to kick the bucket than endure.

The headquarters’ journey is not even close to scary. It is situated at a generally low height for an 8,000m pinnacle and is handily gotten. Early in the morning, your journey starts to the last village (Askoli) before your trekking starts via a 4×4 jeep most feasible. After 6-8 hours of driving, you will reach Askoli depending on the road conditions and dependent on landslides, etc. In case of any landslide, you will have to trek for a few hours to make your way to Askoli.

At Askoli there are camping sites under different trees, which we will provide you for your stay for the day. You will have time to meet the crews including the kitchen staff and the porters in the second half of the day and the locals of Askoli village. You can also have the chance to get to know about other trekkers or mountaineers from different countries waiting for the morning to witness the mighty Karakorum there at Askoli. At the night you can make your mind prepare for the upcoming breathtaking journey that starts early in the morning.

After marking the final checklist of the required equipment our porters will carry all the necessities with us to our campsite. We start our trek from Askoli till Korophon for our lunch by trekking alongside the Braldu river on our right side which meets with the Domordo river near the Jhola campsite. After lunch, we trek again to our campsite of Jhola where you will stay for the night of day 6.

Early in the morning, the real trekking starts as from now onwards our way will be on the glacier till Goro II. You can witness the huge mountains right and left of your journey but the thing kept in mind is o the way you are trekking. Because the glacial path changes abruptly, therefore, you should follow the instructions of our professional guide who will always be with you.

We then stop after a few hours at a small campsite called Liligo for lunch. After a couple of hours, you will be at Khoburtse campsite where you will stay for the night.

Day 10. Khoburtse to Urdukas (4050m) 2-3 hours.

Today’s trek unlike others is quite short but needs more energy and stamina. Because you are continuously gaining altitude and moving on the glacier so it’s very difficult to move with gaining more height. Within a few hours, we will be at our campsite Urdukas which is the last developed campsite and therefore have more facilities than other camps of litter bins and toilets, etc.

The view from the campsite is just wonderful as the Cathedral peaks just opposite the campsite are stunning to view with a cup of tea.

Day 11. Urdukas to Ghoro II (4380m) 5-7 hours.

Here at Urdukas, there are graves of porters (high altitude), hence people gather for a prayer and then early in the morning we move from Urdukas for Goro II. In our way comes mighty Mashabrum Peak (7821m) on our southern side. We move into the mountainous region on glacier northwards where our campsite Ghoro II is situated. The journey will be a bit tougher because of the ups and downs of the glacial nature which changes very precipitously so precautions are mandatory while trekking is quite crucial for the group of k2 base camp trek. Here at Goro II temperature may decline dramatically but the sight of Mashabrum and Mustagh Tower (7273m) generates more energy than compulsory.

Day 12. Goro II to Concordia (4650-5000m) 3-4 hours.

The real adventure of your trekking begins from here because you are trekking to Concordia where the huge mountains like G-II, III, and IV 8035m, 7952m, and 7925m respectively, Broad Peak (8047m) and Mitre Peak(6030m), etc. are just waiting for your eyes to open and they all welcome you in their heaven. Here the Godwin Austin glacier meets the Baltoro glacier and makes a junction, and the view of K2 is just a trek of a few minutes away from the campsite because our camp will be before the Godwin Austin glacier which opens our way to k2. We need to trek the left side for the k2 base camp from Concordia early in the morning.

Day 13. Concordia to k2 Basecamp(5135m).  (5-8) hours.

In the early morning, we depart for the k2 base camp by the Godwin Austin glacier for 2 hours to pass the Broad Peak base camp on our right. Then after a few hours, K2 becomes bigger than us as we move nearer to the base camp. The journey looks plain from Concordia towards K2 but the deception uncovers as we move through the ups and downs of the Godwin Austin glacier towards k2. We visit the Art Gilkey memorial of those who lost their lives on K2 whose names are mentioned on tin plates and placed on a small rock there. After lunch, we move back to Concordia campsite from the same route.

Day 14 Gashabrum base:

Camp, rest and expl, ore Gashabrum 1 &2 base camps.
